A boudoir session is a luxury photography experience that celebrates your confidence, sensuality, and individuality. At Amélie Boudoir, I create editorial-style images in my private Bloomingdale, IL studio, inspired by fashion, fine art, and French aesthetics. This is a sophisticated boudoir experience.

Amélie Boudoir is located in Bloomingdale, only 5 miles from Schaumburg, IL, near Woodfield Mall — easily accessible from Roselle, St. Charles, Geneva, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Chicago suburbs, Downtown Chicago, and all Chicagoland. Free, easy parking. Clients travel to Amélie Boudoir from all over Greater Chicago (and even the midwest).

Completely! Most of my clients are everyday women who’ve never done anything like this before. I specialize in guiding you through every pose, making you feel relaxed, beautiful, and empowered throughout the process. Without fail, every client remarks how fun the session was.

Professional hair and makeup styling is available upon request at an additional fee per the artist. From natural glam to full bombshell, professional hair and makeup is recommended. Sometimes clients book their boudoir session the same day as their bridal hair and makeup preview.

Once you book, you'll receive Amélie Boudoir’s exclusive Prep Guide, which includes wardrobe tips and outfit inspo. I also have a growing Client Closet available for select pieces with most clients opting to utilize my robes, gloves, veils, etc.

Absolutely. Posing is my superpower. You’ll get gentle direction throughout the shoot so you always know what to do with your hands, face, hips — everything. All you need to do is show up. I’ll handle the rest.

Yes! Bridal boudoir is our specialty (in addition to romantic branding and female portrait sessions). Amélie Boudoir’s bridal boudoir sessions make stunning gifts for your partner—especially when paired with my Bridal Boudoir Magazine, luxury mini magazine, or heirloom prints. Many Chicago brides book 3-6 months before their wedding day. I also strive to take last minute bookings when possible. Reserving your time with me in advance is often recommended even if you don’t have a date in mind just yet.

Some months book faster than others. I recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, especially if you're planning around a birthday, anniversary, or wedding. Weekend slots fill fast. You can check availability and reserve your session HERE.

After your session, you’ll receive a password-protected viewing portal to download your digitals. This is also when you’ll see your fully edited gallery and choose your favorite images if building your Bridal Boudoir Magazine. You also have à la carte options after your shoot to purchase more images, an album, etc.
