I’m Maritza, a romance-focused Chicago Boudoir Photographer based in Bloomingdale, IL with a wildly feminine approach.
I launched Amélie Boudoir to create accessible aspirational bridal boudoir and empowering portraits for women. The type of boudoir photography I longed for didn’t exist when I was getting married and I became determined make it a reality.
With a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology, I’ve always been able to connect with others and give words to the unspoken. I’m not an energy healer, but I’m an excellent energy reader—and I give great advice.

Boudoir is exciting—but it can also feel a little intimidating. That’s completely normal. This is a private, personal experience, and I treat it with a high level of care. Your images are safe, and the entire process is designed to feel calm, guided, and comfortable.
You don’t need to know how to pose. I guide you in a way that feels natural, flattering, and true to you—never forced. My approach is rooted in softness, intention, and the quiet confidence that comes from feeling like yourself.
I also believe this experience should feel clear and pressure-free. All of my packages include your session experience and your images without pressure to spend more.
If you want something more tailored, I’m always open to creating something that fits your needs. Most clients walk in a little nervous—and leave wondering why they didn’t do this sooner. Some clients jokingly call it boudoir therapy—and honestly, they’re not wrong.
